Health and Safety at work Act 1974: This act summarise the duties and responsibilities of employers and employee, employee should co-operate with their colleagues as it is vital to ensure health and safety in workplace (Sprenger, 2003). There are legislation requirements to support health and safety in working place, among them are; health and safety at work 1974 in the UK, your welfare at work, health and safety are guided by law. Employers have a duty to all employee to ensure a safe working environment, this comprise of providing a clear health and safety policy. It is the duty of employee to follow health and safety policy and procedures provided also work as a team with their colleagues as it is vital to ensure health and safety in work place (Sprenger 2003).
